I read about this Russian's analysis elsewhere recently and I immediately thought of the "Nine Nations of North America."

I think the Russian's analysis is very mistaken as to where he has drawn the fault lines. I also think that the Nine Nations divisions are probably dated and were never quite right.

That said, I too am looking for the break up of the USA (I did not say looking forward to, but simply expecting it to happen). I think that we have been systematically weakened to the point where the only hope for the survival of some semblance of American society will be for a part of the nation to break away and separate itself from the rest to restore the old values, the old ways, the original meaning of the Constitution, etc. If this does not happen, we will become another completely dead nation like the USSR.Dr.Dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18360786634583725263noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7988870184363644257.post-26469105479805058642008-12-29T18:04:00.000-08:002008-12-29T18:04:00.000-08:00Hi BillyD,That reminded me of The Nine Nations of ...Hi BillyD,
That reminded me of The Nine Nations of North America. So, I updated the post to include the map from that book.Perpetuahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16632860530530786486noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7988870184363644257.post-87796048868247625912008-12-29T17:43:00.000-08:002008-12-29T17:43:00.000-08:00Well, that's not so bad - Rhode Island gets to go ...Well, that's not so bad - Rhode Island gets to go with Europe. (Hey! Maybe we'll get to rejoin the UK - I'm a Loyalist at heart) Sorry to hear about California, though, Perpetua. Two words of advice: (1) start learning Mandarin now; it's not that hard, I understand; and (2) stay away from the dairy products.

This prediction reminds me a little of the post-nuclear war America outlined in Whitley Streiber's novel War Day. And probably has as much chance of occurring. The Religious Pícarohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03620636294081499041noreply@blogger.com
